God and I

His hand holds mine, and I trust in Him.
My life depends on Him, for He is my radiance.
I bear witness to Him, and no one will hinder me.
With His protective mantle, I know He will watch over me.

How can I not praise You, how can I not adore You?
No one can prove that You are a work of art,
And if I'm sure of anything, it's that You are everywhere.
You have been my refuge and also my strength.
It is Your shield that protects my head every day.

I remain vigilant, so as not to lose my mind.
In my soul, I bear Your eternal sacrifice in mind.
That love so infinite covers all suffering.
You have demonstrated it with actions, because words are carried away by the wind.

Your purpose in my life is to be a light.
I do not give myself to darkness; I do whatever You say.
I can only serve You; I have nowhere else to go.
I will not regret hoping in Jesus Christ.

Only God can heal me, those wounds of the soul.
In the midst of my pain, I find calm in you.
You have sworn to restore me through your word.
I meditate on it early, for it is you who speak to me.

In you, my beloved Father, in you there is no evil.
Come, light up all this darkness now.
Lord, watch by day and at dawn,
So that at dawn, I may contemplate your gaze.

Your blessings abound, and I long for them.
I know that you hear those who cry out from a pure and sincere heart.
To him I give thanks, to him my companion.
Receive all glory, Creator of the whole world.
