God
you are imperfect
and fear not shame
you stand in the light
and look the same
you stand by well
another takes the throne
when you speck it is
not a condescending tone
i know not your name
or your place of birth
for i can not trust
all of his girth
i know it's been changed
i do now the why
and with closed eyes
you heard there cry
if i must choose
before chose is gone
i know not your name
but they call you john
