That blackie cat sat fattened 'neath the ol' pumpkin moon, While the yummies in his tummy sang a hummy little tune, No more twitchy, glitchy, witchy tails or mousey little feets, For he'd gobbled all those goblins up as trick-or-treat eats! ~ 1st Place ~ in the "Good Luck Halloween" Poetry Contest, Eve Roper, Judge & Sponsor. Excellent Halloween poem my friend. As a young kid we had a huge back cat that was my favorite after my favorite dog. The cat was huge and our dogs were scared of it. A huge strange dog came in our yard and our black cat attacked it-- ran it away! Great poetry my friend...

I had a black cat a few years ago, Robert, it was a stray Tom that adopted me, and I adored him - tore me apart when he passed. Many thanks for your kindness, friend! :o)
