Gobble Fun-- Lets Eat a Ton

Stuffing, pickles, olives too
A wishbone for me and you
Cranberries and pumpkin pie
Dig right in now, don't be shy
Dark or white meat, it's your choice
Every things juicy and moist
Mashed potatoes, carrots, squash
Peeled, sliced, carefully washed
Football games on big T.V.s
Loud belches from beer bellies
Leftovers are wrapped up tight
For a snack late in the night
Turkey salad, soup and more
Heated gravy that you pour
On a sandwich full of flavor
Lots of things to taste and savor
Turkey day has come and gone
But it won't be very long
Till your ovens full again
Good times with family and friends

this is awesome. I write lots of food poems too. I see you have lots in common with me. When I began writing about 14 years ago, I always wrote in rhyming couplets. They are lots of fun to do!!!
