Go With the Flow

Not only did time run away
but it skipped over many days
time has a way of meandering
finding it's own path
we get a glimpses into that world
but the sands of time keep running
it moves and forces us to move with it
it does not stop but we may stop
to smell the flowers along the way
it does not care it just keeps going
it will not stop so we must learn to
carry on and make the best of each day.

very reflective. The longer we live, the more we write poems on this kind of topic. I love this one.
