Go To Sleep

No monsters are beneath your bed
The window’s locked, lay down your head
I’ve read the stories that you like
It’s time for sleep you little tyke

Just one more kiss and then I’m gone
Your stalling has gone on too long
Your mom and I are just down stairs
You’re safe here with your teddy bears

I’m going – I said close your eyes
The moon and stars are in the skies
And little kids all need their sleep
Don’t let me hear another peep

Ok – just maybe one more kiss
But that will be the end of this
