Go to Hell

What is wrong with the world today
Armies at war but mostly innocent pay
Israel, Palestine, Russia, Ukraine 
Catastrophic destruction, immeasurable pain

Leaders of nations speak lots of empty words 
Talking of consequence, like sheep, how absurd 
Action is called for by those on the outside 
But It will take more than words to turn this tide 

Solutions are not easy
But you need somewhere to start 
How about stop the killing
That would give hope 
To those who’ve lost heart 

If there is a heaven
And if there’s a hell 
May those responsible 
Go to the latter, and eternally dwell

David Fisher December 5, 2023 at 5:34 PM Your title grabbed my attention, and your poem laid it out emphatically. People should read your poem. I think once the powers that shouldn't be squeeze out the U.S. dollar's last penny of value, then things will change. But it will probably get worse first. War keeps the ponzi going, unfortunately.
