Go There
Where the suffering ~ the implied
I hear a threat, one moment's plied
the adversary leaves no choice
while mind is bearing the resource!
The contrary robs the harmless soul
of quiet time ~ a reverent knoll
my peace unsettled to and fro
the asking faith of self control!
The calm derivitive of choice
is thinking out my hopes invoice
an aura of concern's true voice
the promises of God rejoice!
"Go there" I've heard so many times
beginning's journey not sublime
some fear and worry left behind
a calling obvious when divine!
Restraint, the same, the evenkind
consoling, confidential prime
a talent's equity reminds
that wholeness implements rescind!
The tithe of time ~ equal resource
is character, leaning not consort
nor status file, but statures force
the meaning of the spirit's chorus!
As harmony of self endorse
acceptance ~ others, not divorce
nor value place, fruition's course
is promise kept, God's listing source!
The "go there" signalling hope's return
nor safety's shield nor forecast's yearn
obedience, tracking not adjourn
but driving, faithful ~ with concern!
