Go Paint My Muse Commands

Loving my studio is not enough
I have to actually go over there and pick up a paintbrush
Reminding myself who I am
Today is the day, I say, halfheartedly.
Not ready yet. 
Sticking myself back into lah lah TV land
A world that never brings satisfaction of any kind
Yet here I sit hour upon hour
Decompressing and decomposing.
Go paint! My muse commands.
Making things worse.
I despise being told what to do.
I click yes for the next automatic show I am not watching.

I don't always remember what she pours upon my pages but, she's produced some nice pieces throughout the years. Enjoyed. Panagiota Romios December 9, 2019 at 7:38 AM Sometimes I get poetically paralyzed! And sometimes I need to have fun and not beat myself up while so doing. Judging everything I do constantly as "non- creative" is no standard for me to run my life. There's a time for everything. I need to hide them and free myself.
