Glycolysis

underneath my silhouette it's always "liek" dusk. i hear a marching band in the fog, a damp echo, some dilute nightmare. i still exhale you. an illuminated allegory i will forever see. i sense it's fundamental, like an imperfect cell wanning away inside; my smoke filled lungs. unable.

Jake, oo I like this kind of free verse poem. However, Glycolysis is bad... super enjoyed, A nice warm WELCOME to poetry soup. I hope you enjoy the community. wow thanks so much Linda that was kind. I will be posting more and following your poems as well! I just read Silent Page and was very intrigued with your writing style, and woahhHH that was a wonderful poem. "I dusted myself off like yesterday's verse, yesterdays dirt Cobweb, remain on my page My pen now sits like a twig" <3 it. look forward to reading more and looking at some contests. thanks !
