Gluttony

I stand alone, ablaze
In the pouring rain
Inside of a vacuum, I SCREAM!
In silence, raging in flames
The rain cannot help me
Nothing can
It cannot extinguish my misery
It cannot extinguish my pain
No, it need not
For I am cold again
A blanket of ice, hath covered my heart!
And hardened.
Frozen… TO THE CORE!

For days, I am stagnant,
I feel nothing… ONLY YOUR FEAR!
It is delicious.
But then, the fire grows
Once again, inside of my heart!
No! It melts the frozen stone!
It cannot melt the stone!
It protects.
It protects… me.
