Glow Bug

A quite mid-summers peaceful night Wind is calm tree's are still as I hear the crickets near And as I gazed upon tiny glow bugs flying in the summer night Playing as if they were chasing one another The moon is out yet so bright not a cloud in the sky Just like the glow bugs that shine so bright Continue to scatter around this night Glowing so bright like green of rays You'd thought you saw tiny sparkles in thy sky As if it was the fourth of July (with a smile upon my face) And Every time I come across these glow bugs I smile of happiness I once had before in the moment I'll always see these glow bugs -with that smile upon my face

I really like this. Sadly I have never seen one in person. We do not have such in this part of Florida. :(
