Glorious Dawn
In golden rays of early light
Dark shadows flee from yonder hill
As twinkling stars farewell the night
And leave the sky pale rose and still
Then calling birds their chorus ring
In golden rays of early light
To welcome dawn they join and sing
A blessing thus of pure delight
Calm waters on the lake shine bright
Blue dragonflies dart to and fro
In golden rays of early light
The silver fish entrap the glow
And all of this is yours and mine
A rare and precious wondrous sight
Wrought by a presence so divine
In golden rays of early light
