Gloomy

It’s a gloomy day ~ All the clouds are grey They seem in dismay Sun’s not come to play The wind does not stay The leaves do not sway No charming display A drudging weekday What do they convey? ~ It’s a gloomy day written on 08.17.2021

Had a few of those days recently. They were cold enough, and now your words are sending a chill of their own.

Gloomy Day is my most disliking. Welcome ! Every day Sun must send its ray I earnestly pray.

I like this poem. I like that every line rhymes. I like the story it tells. So now I see this is monorhyme. I must try this.

The day sure looks gloomy in your photo. Well described in monorhymes, Jo.
