Glistening Opal

Upon the brow of terras teary sleet, a morning dove as mute as the opaque streets,

Wonder beseeches the beguilment of times' apathy, windows go *crack* with a shiver and sigh,

Broken hearts grown warm amid this devilish sky, graupel forms under the bed of those who've heard their rimy cry,

Stung, they stay as safety trifles nigh with a grin made of silence and white discontent.
