Glimpses of a Dream

Behind a brick wall
flickers
just enough for a view;
disappearing before
it can be seen.

A feeling
escapes my grasp
evaporating like
ice in the wind
the coolness remains.

Trying to remember
hurts, fall back
wait.

Life invades
demanding attention
memories fade...
maybe sleep will
open the door.

A beautiful and awe-inspiring poem. Yes, sleep opens the doors for memories to show more vividly. Thanks for sharing. -Mohammad
