Glass Walls

Special reasons roll with the seasons
Influence flows in silent confluence
Reach for the sky then breathe a sigh
As dreams ascend and hopes ride high

Power glides where thought resides
Creativity ever so gently confides
But in the shuffle we lose our way
Overlooked voices quietly stray

Feathers get ruffled, nerves unwind
Only the numb seem not to mind
Anger bubbles a storm inside…
Act now before it won't subside
