Glass Wall

I’m trapped behind a wall of glass.
I see what’s beyond, but can’t reach it.
I struggle in my lonesome shell
And suffer in the noisy silence.

I strive to become what makes them different.
I yearn for a life outside of my own traps.
I ache to be reborn into someone else.
But at the same time, death seems so appealing.
