Glad To Help You Through This

I will be glad to help you through this.
Here is the key to my heart.
Feed me coconut cake.
Make sure it is the refrigerator every night.

Buy the groceries 
Because I despise going to the grocery store.
Wash the clothes
If you want the best of the best of me
For laundry is not my thing

Tell me I am pretty
Cuddle me and hold me
Tell me I am smart and creative
If you want me to be your forever one

Last but not least, do not over-react
To anything I say or do, or even act like it is odd.
Treat me like a lady, not a princess, and apologize
For everything, even if it is not your fault.

Because there is a tiger, lion, and bear inside me
And when they are released, you will be running 
Flat out, up into the hills. So buy that coconut cake
And let's get started, my forever ever man.

I LOVE this so much!! ;) Rhona Mcferran March 23, 2019 at 1:49 PM YES! I was also blunt with my husband in the beginning. I dragged him into my mess & said- "This is how I live. I can TRY to be neater, but I will NEVER be a neat-freak, not possible. Can you live with this?" He may've cringed a little, but he didn't run- & the expectation was realistically set for the rest of our life (although I'm more organized now!). Equally shared (or clearly labelled) junk food was also pre-agreed-upon!!
