Glad That You Are Home

hear the rain as it falls on the window,
sitting by the fire place,
I hear the key as it turns the door,
my heart begins to race,
because I know that you are home.

I take your coat,
ask you about your day,
work is over now,
it is time for you to play.

I want to make you feel loved,
no regrets,
whenever you come home
I get excited..

hear the rain as it falls on the window,
laying in your arms as I hear the wind
gently blow.
