Giving Up
His love makes me go on
not being by my side makes me move on
being tested for my love
makes my love stronger
with or without him
i go on
and leaving me
makes me love him more
because its a beautiful gift
to love and expect no love in return
to expect nothing
and to ask of nothing
faith is all that can drive me now
faith in love
who needs a broken heart?
forgiveness
is all that can heal
returning my love
would heal
loving him beyond barriers
heals me
and i feel love despite the pain
and i choose the love i feel
and i have nothing to lose and nothing to gain
feel free to make my choices
i choose love every time
for all its births and deaths
i can live without you
i can exist without you
but love
not without love
no love will guide you through
love will make us all we are
or leave us exposed to that which we cannot face
for love is all
and we are all one
it could be you
it could be someone else
it makes no difference
but love is already in my heart
and i offer it gladly
with no regret or shame
love means giving up all
love means facing the light
love is all we have
love will give us all we need
love will conquer all
for there is no greater power
or lesson
than one of love
so take my love
take it freely
i ask of nothing
but just be
