Giving Thanks

Gratitude should be given every day,
but because we are so busy, it is
given homage once a year. What a shame.

Thankfulness should be given for the basic
necessities of life, such as: food, clothing,
and shelter -- things that are indispensable.

Appreciation should then be offered for
the souls and things we like and love. These feelings
can be shared with others or can be pondered.

Thanksgiving to me is like a pomegranate
with so many sweet facets that I have to
write them in my journal and savor them.

Special thanks that I like to share with others
includes: my tan tiger striped cat -- Cilantro,
my pet rock, my writing, and my faith in God.
