Giving My Time To Jesus

Lately... I’ve been wasting time on foolish things. Not living the kind of Godly life that only Jesus brings. Twenty four hours in a day, Jesus. How much time with you is spent? I’ve never really thought of what a commitment to you meant. I need to spend more time in your word and in prayer. Forgive me now of not doing this—I didn’t even care! Even ten minutes with you Jesus is more that this world could give, This is what I need to do—as your child ought to live! So Lord, my time I give to you. Take total control. Make my life new... And by your word... Make it whole! My time with you is important! This I can see! Receiving your joy and knowing how much YOU LOVE ME!! By Jim Pemberton

a great piece you wrote here Jim, and so true, I know I don't spend as much time with Jesus as I should. I don't read my bible the way i use to. this poem of yours made me do some thinking, thank you for posting it.
