Giving Grace
Putting all the injustices behind myself whilst to others giving grace
I’ve faced all my enemies whilst trying to maintain my rightful place
Saw through all of their falsehoods, not surrendering to all their lies
I returned to find the truth, finding it, it’s time for our last goodbyes
Maybe now on knowing me, you can feel and see the damage done
Was it worth all the fame and glory knowing how you did me wrong
The truth now in hand I’m leaving for a new life in which to embrace
All your falsehoods left unforgivable, so for you I’m just giving grace
So for you I’m just giving grace . . .
