I got a snow globe for Christmas
A long time ago
I shall be frank
It’s a long time ago
I have appreciated gifts more
Skates, books and even socks
On that evening, a long time ago
I got a snow globe for Christmas
It didn’t mesmerize me
On that evening, a long time ago
Today I looked into a window
Saw a snow globe resting there
Thinking that would be a fine gift
Appriciating the person
That a long time ago
Looking into a window
Thought that would be a fine gift
