Giving
Saturated and sodden with overwhelming love we bestow, Stirred with a spontaneous, effusive, indomitable urge, Like the gushing, rushing torrent, untrammelled in its flow, A cascading waterfall in its urgent unbridled surge.
As we tread on through life’s labyrinthine ways, Our faltering journey, a trail of confusion and strife,
Amidst adversity, delusion and impenetrable haze, In a frustrated unfulfilled finale end our life.
So give all you can, nothing will eventually be ours, The pleasure of giving will brighten up your way,
The satisfaction of possessing will be for a few hours,
The happiness of having given will always stay.
