Given the Circumstances

Soon come snow-packed ridges Slippery trails along frosted lanes Warnings of danger on our bridges, Blizzards sweeping o’er the plains. Blustery morns, wind chill factors Slippery trails along frosted lanes Snowplows mounted on big tractors On a lighter note, candy canes! Bundling against the chilling rains Ponds freeze over slowly at first, Slippery trails along frosted lanes It never fails, a few pipes must burst. Happy return of the holiday season Ol’ Jack Frost paints the windowpanes Given the circumstances, there’s a reason Slippery trails along frosted lanes.

It tells me that winter strikes every region (except the extreme south) pretty hard.

I love it, Robert. I had West Virginia in mind. (chuckling)

Brrrrrrr… I feel cold just reading this. I took solace in a candy cane… and broke a tooth. Cheers for that, “Mate”. ;-) Only jesting, Milt. A fine (though hopefully premature) depiction of the chilly times ahead. Right, where’s me snow shoes?
