Given, Not Taken

love can’t be taken
given freely, it grows strong
thriving flowers' ecstasy

dominators learn
roses push away with thorns
love usurped by force will die

unleash if you love
held in a bubble, love bursts
chains will only sever bonds

accept love given
adore the rose when offered
no greater gift is bestowed
