Give Up
I really thought I could trust you...
Then why did you come up to him and say
“Did you see the note?”
Now everyone is talking about me...
and that cliff seems closer that before...
It’s almost like one more step leads to my freedom...
My eternal life up in Heaven...
But no, it leads to crying, dying,
falling, and disappointment once more...
I’ve been caught once...but no more...
I give up on my life...
I give up...
