This society today Where kids do drugs and fall astray We need more Jesus So he can love us and lead us We, as a nation, have fallen behind This is not what was in His mind Shooting & killing, with your bullets and words I am beginning to think this is for the birds I pray for this Earth that He made That one day we will engage in trade The trade of peace for peace Instead of cotton for fleece For God so loved the world He gave His only begotten son So let’s not get this twirled & rejoice in the salvation that has begun
