Give Me Tomorrow, Today
The mystery of tomorrow is disappearing,
and we are forgetting about our history.
We are bored and sick with our humanity.
We long to be something more, even God.
Is the reality of tomorrow in our minds a
vanishing point? We want history to go away
from our minds. Today, we cannot deal. We want
to steal tomorrow. We don't have time to wait.

Granted, we understand that when we are young,
We cannot wait for tomorrow to appear. Yes, it's
understandable that when we are older, we wish
that tomorrow would slow its arrival.
But we are trying to comprehend why everyone,
both old and young, wants prophets to give them
tomorrow, today. It's like making payments on a new
car or getting a mortgage on a home. Yes, we can have
the car and the home. But let's face it. We nor prophets
are God. Only God can give us tomorrow in His time.
