Give Me Hope

Give me hope beyond all dreams
Hope that spreads cross lands and seas
Hope of humanity spirit and mind
To bring understanding full and kind
Hope of mercy selfless and free
To bring life and make death flee
Hope of forgiveness to one and all
To bring together the great and the small
Hope of grace from heart to heart
To cement it in place so it never parts
Hope for true love towards strangers family and friends
To bring peace everlasting and death to all sin
