Give Me a Man

Give me a man to handle a situation And also look cool on occasion Protect me from fright And follow the light Am I asking too much Believe in God and have guts Protect me from harm And still lay on the charm To have lived all these years And you must have seen dear Through living and careers Life is hard alone here Am I asking too much Believe in God and have guts Protect me from harm And still lay on the charm Have brains but don’t scare Give love, be aware Look at me but don’t stare I’ll stay if you care Am I asking too much Believe in God and have guts Protect me from harm And still lay on the charm Pay your bills, no fanfare Know the Man who’s upstairs Hold me close so I know You won’t let me go Am I asking too much Believe in God and have guts Protect me from harm And still lay on the charm
