Give Love, Never Regret it

Only a truer and closer friend
can heed simple words of certainty,
" Give love, never regret it;
in our brief earthly journey,
we don't have time to amend hurt:
show sweetness, don't offend
anyone who denies their sympathy!" 

Give love, never regret
even when it doesn't come back;
it eventually will, making you happy...
give love, never regret it
'though it can be another setback,
and the wait may feel an eternity! 

Does one stop smiling
in the midst of certain doubts?
Does one feel betrayed,
feel misunderstood,
feel empty facing loneliness? 

Do the opposite,
show them how pain
can be overcome 
with forgiveness;
we all fall somehow
and lose awareness, 
there's no telling when
we'll come to our senses
and hug each other again
saying, " Give love,
never regret it anyhow;
nobody can survive alone! "
 
Give love, never regret it,
they'll remember the actions of a good heart;
they won't forget grudge:
avoid anger, because it only leads to revenge!
