Give a Little Bit

I cleared out the weeds and placed my flower pots in
As Jesus' own Heart pleads with such encroaching sin
All the flowers standing, the birdbath right along side
Just a deep understanding that it is He who had died

And just as I got done and everything was all finished
A sparrow bathes in the sun His point not diminished
For there he would stay for a good eight minutes or so
For to Jesus we do pray that others may come to know

Finally, thinking he flew away I walked toward our Lord
Right there from Jesus's own Feet he took off and soared
That very next day my grandson and I went to go see
And to his dismay one little flower wasn't meant to be

As he placed it at our Lord's Feet another sparrow came
Rare being timid and petite and maybe not even the same
But there he splashed away a sign I've seen often before
Jesus just wants us all to pray if even just a little bit more

Just a little bit more of prayer would do a lot of wonders:) Well written, Vincent:)

Yes I agree, it is what this world truly needs right now. Take care Jo Daniel and enjoy your day.
