Girlfriends

A woman's friends, they are among her most cherished people. They all top the list. They know her innermost thoughts the most embarrassing confessions and her deepest desires. She confides whole heartedly the things she feels unable to discuss elsewhere. Sometimes, it only takes a word or a look between them to bring back a fond memory, their minds tuned together as in telepathy both running down the same path side by side as best friends should be.
