Ginger Painter of Rainbows

A lovely lass gone before seven. Born with a fast pass straight for heaven. Why a charming child should die so young? Cracking the hearts of her loved ones. For all who have struggled with the why. Our mother penned the perfect reply. Carved it on her gravestone so we, And all the rest of the world could see. God required her sweet little hands To paint his rainbows over our land.

So beautiful! I knew a little 5 year old who died and she lit up the whole church. It couldn’t have been any brighter. I will always remember Lucy.

Such a sweet elegy you've penned, as if you stepped inside the heart of an aggrieved mother and helped, really helped, her deal with her pain by putting a smile back on her face and an eternal song in her heart!! Terrific elegy, Kenneth! Light and Joy, Gershon
