Ginger Crunch
Is anything nicer than ginger crunch?
It's my favourite slice on which to munch
It tastes best when the icing is thick
And crystallized ginger on top of it
I’ve dreamed all day about eating it
Distracted by the massive sugar hit
There’s one piece left for tea tonight
And soon I’ll taste its sweet delight
At least, that’s what I anticipated
But my joy soon dissipated
For I opened up the biscuit tin to see
Some bugger got there before me
Waaahhhh!
