Gilded Generation

Generation, gilded glide.
Crimson, O my tide.
Reading by the riverside?
Bonds together tied.

Fatherhood, mission sacred.
What to picnic bring?
Tuck thy daughter into bed!
Tigress, thy purring!

Wind, ring chimes. Riddles, red rhymes.
Blue ocean, thy depth.
Symptom of the age and times?
Dragon, fire thy breath.

Hurricane, blow and sing in me!
Volcanic my mind!
O typhoon, a warrior be!
Eyes of hers, you shined!

Enshrined, O love. Yes, sir, and how.
Roiling waters deep.
All that matters? Anyhow.
What we sow, we reap.

Little form upon my knee?
Life, thy mystery.
Belladonna, blessed be!
She's been good to me!

Witches, thy profoundest spell.
Dare the fires of hell?
Ripples of the wishing well?
Stories left to tell.

Reeled in, O my marlin?
A sword upon thy nose?
O reality, light of Sin!
Moonlight, O my crows!

Tympani, boom. O oboe, hum.
Passion, strike me dumb.
Cake she baked, thy tiniest crumb!
Hummingbird, wings thrum...
