Nature is very generous. I'd live to see those swallow. Your poem is perky just like the start of May.

Interesting... I had never heard of Mayday flowers, and well, here they are. I remember the Maypole Dance... In any event, Happy May Day, Chetta. :) gw

Yes. Mom, who is 89 now, remembers in school on May Day the students would go out and hang baskets of flowers on neighborhood doors. I also had to make a correction to this poem. I wrote sparrows when I meant swallows.
