Gifts of Life
The earth in all her wisdom
Reflects your grief
The mountains stand as silent witness
To echo your pain
The oceans heave and crash
Your torment to the earth
Again and again
I see the forces of evil
That drive you
Unforgiving, relentless and cruel
I see the demons of guilt
That devour you
Destroying a precious jewel
I know that your spirit
Is pure and strong
Untouched by the monster
You've fought for so long
I know that your heart
Though wounded with pain
Will find the courage
To live again
The gifts of Life are weaving their miracles
Deep within your soul
Listen.... Life is calling
Gently beckoning
Softly pleading
For your response
Where peace and wisdom
Silently await you....
