Notes About The Poem

Gift of Glad - For Jan Allison

My poet friend, Jan, has a style

That makes others chuckle and smile

And for her sweet gift

Giving glum folks a lift

There's no other pursuit ... more worthwhile.

* For Jan Allison - who dips her quill in the happiest ink. *

aww thanks so much Greg and the picture is stunning:-) adding this gem to my faves. If I can make someone smile with my silly poems then that makes it all worthwhile, there is too much sadness in the world I think we need more laughter and fun in our lives:-) hugs Jan xx

We certainly DO, Jan, and we depend on you to lead the cheery, lighthearted way ... I just wrote another "fun" piece, ("And Early To Rise"), and while it has never been my strong genre, I'm starting to enjoy the lighter side. Thanks to you, Friend!
