Ghosts In the Mirror

A silhouette beckons me,
its flashing shadows strobe memories
vividly in the mirror...
    to revisit, to reenter.
To touch once more for what was,
to reach, again, for what could have been.

In the mirror I see
memories, dreams, and reflections and
the ghosts of who I used to be.

These words are haunting and lovely, Jason, I hope you know that. Take those words to heart, you have a beautiful soul that can be seen through these words.

I want you to know that the mirror will always hold the person you were and are, because that person is supposed to be a part of you everyday. The mirror is there to remind you of the past so you can remember what needs to be changed. The future is not predetermined and what you find in the mirror is something you can use to shape what will happen. Your words paint you to be a lovely person condemned by such darkness, and I feel for you so much.
