Ghosts

So many ghosts.
What do you do over there?
Sis, do you still like movies?
Mom, are you cooking up a storm?
Are the boys telling corny jokes
And Daddy, are you still so
Stern?
Or have you mellowed?
What can I expect?
Will you all line up
To greet me?
You’re all around me
Every day.
I can almost feel your breath,
Hear you call my name.
I know it’s you because
It’s my birth name I hear.
