Ghosts

I hear your laughter through the walls.
I hear you hiss to try and make me small.
I see your shadows in dark light.
I feel your movements in the night.
I sense your presence with its cold.
I sit in the darkness waiting, waiting for your hold.
I close my eyes when you stand over me.
I won’t give you the prize you want of me.
