GHOSTS
are you afraid
of ghosts wearing sallow sheets ~
buoyant floats of shrieks?
unbury the dead —
is that a bright idea?
their flesh in soiled suits
don’t dig up the past
nor nudge the burgeoning dirt
— arrest disturbance
somewhere their souls rise
righteous or with sinful pride
— don’t call the spirits
the bible makes clear
do not turn to mediums
— seek the living God

Isaiah 8:19 When men tell you to consult mediums and spiritists,
WHO WHISPER AND MUTTER, should not a people INQUIRE OF THEIR GOD?
WHY CONSULT THE DEAD on behalf of THE LIVING?
Leviticus 19:31 Do NOT turn to mediums OR seek out spiritists,
for you will BE DEFILED BY THEM.
I AM THE LORD YOUR GOD.
