Ghost Child
ghost child,imaginings i come to
when i dream of you i weep
sometimes i envision what
you might have looked like
how much sparkle would be
in your little laugh-i see daffodils
in your room and lots of toys
so much joy you would give me
and i would hold you and wipe
your tears and your little nose
in winter and when you made
a picture i would praise you and
hang it up with such pride and i
would admire your open mind and
your big,big heart and pure soul
ghost child i wonder where in the
universe you are tonight-i hope
someone has you wrapped up
in a deep blanket of love
