Getting Up One More Time

GETTING UP ONE MORE TIME How can I keep getting up When tired and overwhelmed With life Where can I find the strength Pull myself to standing Through strife Why stand up the first few times Whilst battered and bruised With life What of falling without strength Or heart to carry on Through strife Then I feel those two strong Arms Lifting me high once again Tightly to Himself into The light © Kim van Breda—May 2014

about your poem: WOW! To get up one more time. Your poem was amazing. I like how I fell into a lost feeling, when reading every line, until that last four... WOW, it blew me away... It sure is a great feeling. I wish this in my life... xox~ Linda
