Getting It Together
Getting it together slowly but for sure,
We reflect on where we are to remember where we were,
The things that held us down have finally disappeared,
The tasks that weigh our mind all seemed to be cleared,
Haunting thoughts that walk the halls will scare us now and then,
But they are just the ghosts of burden from where we all begin,
The feeling they will visit and ask you to return,
Place them in a pile light a match and watch them burn,
They no longer control you you're stronger than you know,
Take all of your power release it let it show,
As long as you remember that you're in full control,
The doubts that haunt your mind will never slow your roll.
