Getting Dressed

In a hurry on the most important day of my life

Almost couldn’t get my bow tie tied on the day I was going to tie the knot

But thankfully I had some help

Laughing to myself, because usually I’m waiting for you to finish getting dressed…sitting to myself

Thinking of our next big move

I’m a casual guy but I’m trying to be formal with our future

Dress it up all fancy the same way we do them babies

Baby I don’t mind if you or me is a little late because us is always worth the wait

So, I’ll forever wait on you no matter the weight, just to see her wearing whatever

No matter the choice she is my first choice

Messy bun, wavy beach curls, straight blonde, I’ll still wanna curl up next to you either way

Wearing that red dress, ripped jeans, hoodie, or PJ’s you’ll still be my hot stuff bae

Make up or naked face with freckles covering all the right places

I don’t care just as long as we always make up

Why do we argue about what to wear or how long it takes to put it together to wear it?

Not really sure but I know it won’t happen today

Because we are getting dressed separately

About to be married

You in that dress I can’t wait to see

p.s. always with you no matter the brand we wear…
